Richard Stanley’s adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft’s classic starring Crazy Cage . Let down by some bad casting (not Cage or the Volvo) , s creen writing/ dialog, and pac ing.

That’s super disappointing. Although I’ll admit it looked like something that would be really difficult to get right.

Really disappointing since it seems the difficult part he got so right. The visuals and the way some characters are unaware were spot on.
Unlike Mandy, Cage wasn’t used well. I don’t want to say his role made a joke of the movie...but his role made a joke of parts of the movie where more weight would have been greatly beneficial, IMO.

L imited release. I’ve read and watched a couple of reviews that lean toward mine, but for the most part r eviews are “pretty good”. The audience last night seemed to enjoy it very much, s o i t may see a wider release soon .

My first GF in the late 90s was in love with the Prodigy, and I listened to this song dozens of times with her. I had to idea there was a video for it. This pretty much perfectly captures the early 90s. This literally could have been a Levi’s ad back then. Shit got weird.
